Adventures of s/v WILD HAIR

ADVENTURES OF WILD HAIR

Our land life took on form, solidity, routine. We had mastery of a limited set of skills. We had habitual expectations of others and ourselves. Going sailing, we let go of our attachments to our roles, views, and rituals. We persist because we are growing in this shapeless and dynamic world.

Ahoy Mates!

Having returned from a delightful 71 days in the Bahamas, Dave and I offer this blog update to share with you a sampling of our travels. Below, you'll hear and see how we

  • Came face to face with wildlife

  • Organized our days

  • Gained spiritual insights

  • Barely managed broken equipment, groundings, currents, and crash-courses with large commercial vessels

Plus, we look forward to hearing back from you. Give us a call or email and let us know what is happening in your life. We're anxious to keep in touch!

Wishing you fair winds and--if not--cheap diesel!

Saw Jim McCarthy - thanks for the referral - and he sent me the link to the blog. What a great adventure you are having! You give us all hope we can rally for the big adventure some day. Enjoy, have a great adventure and be safe!
